Foody Thursday – Orange Rice

One of the most favorite dishes of my younger kiddo. Fast, easy, healthy, unusual. Orange Rice – you have to try!

Orange Rice 2

I prefer to use Basmati rice, but you could use your favorite kind.

Cooked in a rice cooker or multi-function cooker Panasonic in my case. And no Panasonic is not paying me for advertising – I had it for over 7 years now, and still love it.

The idea is simple, instead of water, use orange juice to cook your rice.
Basically 2 cups of rice
2.5 cups orange juice
salt
and a big chunk of butter

Cook it, serve it, enjoy it!

Option: use Cranberry juice for delightful pink rice!
