Gayane Dobrovolskaya is a very talented, hard working and productive artist – in the past 15 years created over 3000 portraits and paintings of other genres and cityscape is one of those. I personally enjoy a more detailed work, but here you go – enjoy!
By now you have seen enough artists and paintings, I believe it is the time to introduce my most favourite artist – Donald Zolan, artist who knows what is the most important in life and knows how to show it. His paintings are more then art – it is a therapy, pain reliever for those dark days when you are not sure anymore why you are here. Unfortunately his official web-site is under construction, but you could still see his motto – "Angels among the Roses – Flagrant touch of heaven on earth"
Wonderful world of water paints by Susan Ryder, English artist, member of New English Art Club. Enjoy the dreamy rooms!
The Singing Bird
Some call his art naive. I never got human's desire to classify everything, sort everything into groups, apply tags…. Why do you have to call it names? Just simply enjoy – Edivaldo Barbosa de Souza, Brazilian artist.
I did a blog post in June about wonderful art of Cuban Artist Maria Arango. And not long ago I received an e-mail from Maria.
Houses in Art (this is not from Maria's collection)
Since I was about 5 years old I could entertain myself for hours and hours with an album and some watercolors. And since I remember myself my Grandpa was giving me albums of reproductions of famous artists. I was getting them for birthdays, International Women's Day on March 8, New Years and whatever other holidays we had throughout the year. Some were large glossy hard cover albums, some were like a package of post cards, but I loved them all. They were my treasure. And only one thought was bugging me in anticipation of every holiday – what if Grandpa forgets? or gives me something else? or won't find a new artist? But till the last day Grandpa was with us, I was getting my albums.
Isaac Levitan was one of the first treasures of my collection. Deep drama of his art used to frighten me as a child and it still does. Well, not all of it, of course.
Apple Trees in Blossom
I came across this amazing artist and her amazing works and decided to make a little exception to "Houses in Art". At the end of the day, it is not bricks and mortar that makes a house into a home – it is the warmth of our hearts!
Even though Italian football team was quite disappointing this year, Italian landscapes never fail. Italian houses in art (and some French as well) by Sam Park, amazing and very productive artist
An artist of uneasy destiny and amazing talent, Victor Shvaiko. I wonder, how Russia, Ukraine and many other post-Soviet countries never manage to retain the true talent and the most outstanding artists end up anywhere but there native land.
Reminds me the art of Thomas Kinkade – peaceful, dreamy, full of vibrant colors and mistery – art by James Lee
